August 3rd of this year marked the 10th anniversary of the first day the doors opened for our first veteran. Our Founder and Volunteer Director Sandy Mc Nabb Bower, had just closed on the building on August 1st, 2013. A couple of days later, a veteran in need came here to stay, and since then, Vets Returning Home has housed over 2,000 veterans in 10 years. It has been an honor and privilege helping our heroes. Our veterans presented Sandy with flowers and a card to show their appreciation and give thanks for the many blessings that have come from this program. Thank you to all of our veterans for your service to our country. And thank you to all of our amazing supporters in the community for the love and support we receive, helping us continue our mission.
