We had a very exciting All Hands meeting last Thursday at Vets Returning Home! A lot of big announcements and gifts for our veterans. Gift cards were passed out for the holidays, we had a guest come help with job opportunities, and a surprise car donation with the keys going directly into one of our veterans hands. All of these moments were so heartfelt and beautiful.
Lots of HUGE thank yous from the bottom of our hearts go out to: Thank you to James with Work Force Development for coming by to visit and help our veterans who are looking for employment. Such a great service for our veterans to be connected with. Thank you to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church for the gift cards for each of our veterans for the holidays. Thank you to Troy Women's Association for the gift cards for each of our veterans, Carol came to visit us and passed them out, and they also gifted us $2,000 in gift cards for anything that would be needed for our veterans and facility. Thank you to the Daughters of the American Revolution for gifting each of our veterans gift cards for the holiday season.
Thank you to an awesome mother and son who donated their vehicle, going from one veteran to another. This car is going to be such a huge help for our veteran Patrick getting back and forth to the new dream job opportunity with the NICA, and where he needs to be.
Car donations are life changing, and we could not be more excited and happy for him. We are all so thankful and appreciative of your love, generosity, and support. Thank you all so very much. Our hearts are warmed with joy for our heroes. Merry Christmas and many blessings to every one of you ❤️🎄
